On December 9, the 2020 Shanghai Software Innovation Forum organized by Shanghai Software Industry Association under the leadership of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization was held at the Shanghai International Convention Center. The forum publicized the 2020 Report on Evaluation of Core Competitiveness of Software Companies in Shanghai and the list of software companies with core competitiveness in Shanghai. Shanghai Kingnet Network Technology Co. Ltd. and Shanghai Doushi Network Technology Co., Ltd., subsidiaries of Kingnet, were recognized as "Software Company with Core Competitiveness in Shanghai of 2020 (large-scale type)" and "Software Company with Core Competitiveness in Shanghai of 2020 (innovative type)" respectively.
Shanghai Software Innovation Forum was initiated in 2009 and has been held 11 times. The forum this year is themed "Innovation, Service and High-quality Development". The 2020 evaluation of core competitiveness of software companies in Shanghai disclosed by the forum is intended to encourage the backbone enterprises to play their leading role in driving high-quality development of the software and information services industry. The evaluation covered business size, business performance, R&D capacity, innovation results and quality assurance of the subject companies in accordance with Specification for Evaluation of Software Enterprise Core Competitiveness (T/SSIA 0001-2018) and used the statistics of the industry. The evaluation result was generated through expert deliberation and public consultation.
